Bachelorette party, sometimes called Hen party is your last party as a single women. You should celebrate that night with your best girlfriends and it is usually held 3-4 weeks before the wedding. In this case you don’t have to send invites by yourself, your maid of honor or your bridesmaids will do that instead of you, but you can still design the invitation or hire someone to design it for you. If you have a themed party you can have a custom invitation in the same theme as a nice touch.
Bridal Shower Invitations
The bridal shower is a party held for the bride where guests give her gifts. It is often held one to three months before the wedding day. The invitations should be sent six to eight weeks before the event.
Will You Be My Bridesmaid Cards
This cards are not a must have but it is a great touch to your wedding. You want to show some love to your girlfriends who will be there to help you with the wedding and sending them this cards is a nice way to do that. They will probably treasure the cards as a great reminder to your wedding. The cards are sent after you get engaged.
Will You Be My Flower Girl Card
How cute is it to have an adorable little girl scattering petals or confetti along the bridal path? A flower girl is usually three to eight years old and usually wears a cute outfit matching the bride. Will you be my flower girl card is definitely not a must have but it is a cute way to show the affection to the little one and it will not hurt your budget.
Save The Dates
Save the date is a must have card for your wedding. With Save the date card you announce the date of your wedding for your guests to remember. It is usually sent six to nine months before a wedding and it is followed by matching invitation when the wedding date is near. That gives time for your guests to plan things in advance so they can attend your wedding. Save the date card is also a great opportunity to make it very personal by adding painted elements such as location where you will get married or even a pet.

Response Cards / RSVP Cards
The term RSVP comes from the French phrase “Respondez, s’il vous plait,” which means “Please respond”. Response cards are also one of must haves for the wedding. Wedding invitation should always include a response card so that you know who is coming to your wedding and so that you can book hotels/meals accordingly.
Wedding Menu Cards
Menu cards are there to let your guests know what they will eat and if there are choices, what choices they have. It is also a great way to give them a special information about special types of meal, such as vegetarian. Menu cards are usually printed in two different ways: one for each guest or one large menu card for each table if you want to cut down the expenses. You can put it in a nice frame with your centerpiece.
The regular size for menu cards which you will give to guests is 5 x 7 inches or skinny, vertical menus which are 4 by 8 inches. When it comes to large ones which you will frame the size goes from 5 x 7 inches.
Program / Timeline / Ceremony Booklet
Programs are made so that your guests know the order of events and timeline. It is specially useful if you have a large wedding with lot of activities. Programs can also be made in a form of brochure.
Place cards are cards which direct guests to their tables. Each card has a place for guest’s name and table number to be written. It helps the organization and it is a nice touch which guests will appreciate. The regular size of a place cards is 3.62” x 2.12” and it can be folded or unfolded shape.
Table Numbers/Table Names
This cards are placed on each table and are used for guests to see which table they are planned to sit. Table cards are usually 2 x 3.5 inches.
Sitting Plan / Sitting Chart
Sitting plan is a smart way to organize your guests without the hassle of trying to find seats on their own. You should take into consideration families and friends when grouping people on separate tables. Sitting chart are made with a list of guests with their designated tables and should be placed in a nice frame near the entrance.
Wedding Map With Directions
Wedding maps are great addition to your wedding suite and are really helpful to your guests. You need to especially consider to have a wedding map when you hold wedding and ceremony on two different locations or when you have additional activities for your wedding. It will be super useful to your out-of-town guests and watercolor wedding maps can look really great as an extra special touch and are great keepsakes. If you are artistic you can do it by yourself or you can hire a professional designer to do it for you. Direction information card can be two sided, a map on one side and the text with information on the other side.

Thank You Cards
Thank you cards are also one of the must have items. You must send a Thank you card to all the guests who came and sent presents, and it can be send about 4 weeks after the wedding. Guests will appreciate that gesture. The regular size is 5 x 7 inches, but it can be in other sizes as well.
